How can I book an event at Mano Oculta?
Please contact a promoter to book a show. All show booking should be directed to mike@lastlightbooking.com or via inquiry to the right (or below if on a mobile device).

Please email manoocultapdx@gmail.com for private events like weddings, dinners, meetings, parties or otherwise.

Other promoters we regularly work with include Brightside Social Club, Mammoth NW, etc. We also work with other promoters on an infrequent basis. Please contact them if you’re an artist and want to book a show or event.

I’m a promoter/agent, how can I book a date at Mano Oculta?
See above. Send an email to mike@lastlightbooking.com with the date you are looking for and the acts, etc.

I’m in a local band. How can I open the “xyz” show?
Contact the promoter who is producing the show. That can be found on the ticketing page or they’re tagged on Instagram.

We are a local band. We want to set up a show. How can we do that?

Some important information:, Mano Oculta is not a starter venue and it is not a bar. There is no foot traffic. This is the real deal. People need to pay to come see you play, not just your friends & family. We host all sorts national, international and regional acts.

At a minimum, each act should able to draw 20-30 paid attendees to see you. A total show should be able to draw at least 60 people paid (this does not include guest list or other band’s members or our staff). If you do not have this level of draw, house shows, DIY spaces and bars are appropriate to build your following.

Pay is determined before confirmation of an event between you and our buyer.

As the only small All Ages capable venue in city of the size (the next closes all ages venue is 278), our expenses are a little higher than bars that are open 365 days a year selling alcohol. We have state of the art sound and lighting systems built professionals who have toured the planet. Most importantly, we are not open solely as a bar. Venue Staff only comes to work on event days and they have rent to pay & feed their families. These are professionals, not volunteers, with decades of experience in live events and the only way they can work to pay their bills if you draw attendees.

If you want to be playing covers or songs to people who are just at a bar for a night, there’s dozens of bars in town that can accommodate that. No hard feelings. Anyone coming through our doors are coming to see you play and if you can’t bring people who want to pay to see you, then you’re not ready to play at venues.

It takes a village to support artists and artists have to support their village. When you’re ready to fill our room, we will be happy to have you.

What about load-in/advancing information?
After your event is confirmed, our buyer will advance you this information and connect you with our production team.

Do you have venue specifications available?
We do. See above for booking contacts and our spec sheet can be provided to you. We are a fully equipped venue with professional sound and lights.

We are all vegan and straight edge. Is there stuff for us there?
We vegan options and lots of non-alcoholic beverages. We even have non-alcoholic spirits. Just ask our bar staff and we will be happy to help you out.
