Almost all shows have 7:00 pm door time. Check your ticket as some shows are earlier, and some are later.. Show time’s vary whether its all ages or 21+ so check your ticket.

Is Mano Oculta ADA accessible?
All spaces inside are ADA accessible. There are no stairs in the space except to get on stage. Let staff know if you need accommodations and we’ll make something work for you.

What are set times?
Set times for shows are determined on the day of the show a few hours before doors so we won’t know them in advance. Generally, the first band will go on 30 or 60 minutes after doors but other than that, our best advice is to come early and watch every band. This is a small space and watching all the bands is good for your soul. You might just find your next favorite band before the entire world does!

Do you serve alcohol?
We do. In order to purchase and consume alcohol, you must be 21 years old or older with valid ID which must be shown at the door. Please note: anyone who arrives intoxicated will not be allowed to into the space. Don’t pre-game.

May I bring my bag/backpack inside?
All bags are subject to search. Backpacks are not allowed. For smaller bags such as fanny packs or purses or small satchels, they will likely be searched. Please be ready to open them up for inspection at the door.

There’s a dispensary next door, can I purchase cannabis there and bring it inside?
We love our neighbors. However, if you have legally purchased cannabis, you still cannot bring it inside Mano Oculta nor can you consume it in the parking lot or otherwise on the property. If we see you consuming cannabis before a show, you will be refused admission. Same goes for alcohol, if we see you drinking alcohol outside, you will also be refused entry.

Is there assigned seating?
Pretty much every everything is general admission.

Is there a coat check?
There is not. Please keep in mind we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please hold on to all your personal belongings that bring inside.

Is re-entry allowed?
If you are under 21, no there is not. And you can not buy your way back in. If you exit the front door and you are under 21 you will not be allowed back inside. If you are over 21, you are allowed out the front door, however you will be subject to search coming back inside and the same rules apply as when you first came in.

I lost an item, how do I retrieve it?
If you’ve lost something, email manoocultapdx@gmail.com in order to see if your item is found. We do not have a phone.

Can I bring my dog?
We don’t recommend it. It’s loud often and unsafe for pets and for those reasons we will likely not allow your dog inside. That being said, bona fide service animals trained to do a medical task will be allowed. However, we strongly advise if you bring a service animal to bring hearing protection for them. Dogs ears are sensitive.

I’m a photographer and want to shoot at an event, can I?
Maybe. That’s up to the artist/promoter. We don’t have any say in the matter but generally we don’t care unless the artist/promoter does. Contact the artist directly for a photo pass or the promoter. If they are cool with it, we are too.

Where do I park/how do I get there?
There’s a parking lot out front but it fills up fast, especially considering other businesses use it too. Do not park in adjacent parking lots because they are not ours and will tow you. There’s street parking all around the building and neighborhood but please be kind to your neighbors. Don’t hang out and be loud on the street. It’s a residential neighborhood, please respect it. Don’t drink or smoke in your vehicles or the neighborhoods, it’s not nice to do. Don’t leave valuables in your car either. It’s Portland, and we are not responsible for your vehicles in the lot, or on the street and you park at your own risk.

Or alternatively, the MAX Orange Line stops about 4 blocks away and there’s regular bus service within 2 blocks. Public transport is always the better option.

Absolutely nothing. There’s nothing dark or sinister about it. “Oculta” means “hidden” in Spanish.
